We have many lovely and inspiring stained glass windows, some in the arts & crafts tradition and others depicting life in a small village in the heart of open and beautiful rural landscape.

Many windows tell two stories – the biblical story it depicts and a personal name to whom the window is dedicdated.

They make a great contribution to the atmosphere and sanctity of the church. In particular, the glorious Victorian window behind the sanctuary at the eastern end of the church shows scenes from the life of our Lord from his Nativity to his Ascension; and the contemporary window in the north wall (Lady Chapel), a gift of the village to the church to celebrate the Millennium, shows four scenes of our beautiful village and was especially commissioned from a distinguished stained glass artist.

It is hoped that it will become part of our heritage for future generations.
